About
Redeeming & Restoring
After growing up in a dysfunctional home with various forms of abuse, Ryan turned to drugs and alcohol. These choices led to destruction, pain, high speed police chases, and prison time. In 2003 he met Jesus Christ in a prison cell, setting his life on a course of redemption. Since that time he has chosen to take responsibility for himself, seek counsel and healing, and become grounded in the Family of God. Once considered to be on a crash course with death, he is now living a life yielded to Christ.
In 2025 Ryan and Caitlyn founded Ryan Forbes Ministries, after years of sensing a call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, teach, and bring hope to others through sharing Ryan's story. Ryan's life experience has given him a passion to see others who are incarcerated by their choices and life circumstances, obtain the same freedom that he has.
It is from this desire that he and Caitlyn have founded Ryan Forbes Ministries. They long to see people live in the freedom and potential for which they were created. Ryan's life experience, combined with his collegiate education makes him a powerful speaker as he preaches the Gospel and spurs others on toward living a life redeemed and restored through the power and love of Jesus Christ.
WHO WE ARE
Ryan and his wife, Caitlyn met in 2008 and were married in 2011. Since the beginning of their relationship they have had a heart to bring hope to hurting people, working and volunteering with re-entry ministries, youth centers, and walking with countless individuals.
In 2015 Ryan obtained his bachelor's degrees in both Biblical Studies and Psychology: Addictions and Recovery from Liberty University. Today, they live in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania with their 3 children and 2 dogs, own and operate an interior remodeling business, and are active in their church.

President & Co-Founders
Ryan and his wife, Caitlyn met in 2008 and were married in 2011. Since the beginning of their relationship they have had a heart to bring hope to hurting people, working and volunteering with re-entry ministries, youth centers, and walking with countless individuals.
Alex & Maria Eadline
Board Chair & Treasurer
Alex Eadline (Board Chairman) grew up in New Holland, PA. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with his BS in Civil Engineering. He has his Professional Engineer’s license and is currently employed as a project manager serving the transportation industry. Maria Eadline (Board Treasurer) was born and raised in Terre Hill, PA. She graduated from Millersville University with a BS in Business Administration. She loves being a stay-at-home mom but also does bookkeeping for her parents’ small business and serves as treasurer of the PTO board for their kids’ school. They live in Honey Brook, PA with their 4 children and attend Petra Church. As a family they enjoy camping, vacations to the beach, watching Star Wars and playing soccer and freeze tag in the backyard.
Logan Brady
Secretary
Logan Brady serves as the Secretary for Ryan Forbes Ministries. He and Ryan have walked together in a Proverbs 27:17 friendship since Logan worked under Ryan at a prison ministry in 2009. Logan considers it a blessing to be part of the Forbes’ family’s life and is grateful to be a foundational part of the Ryan Forbes Ministry. Logan attends Petra Church and enjoys teaching Sunday School there. He lives in York County and works as an Electrical Engineer in the Baltimore area.
Kristina Flewelling
Board Member
Kristina Flewelling has been a part of the Petra Church community for over 25 years. Her experience and leadership help connect the Forbes Ministry to the Petra community and leadership. Kristina has also served as a state-side missionary for four years raising funds through a non-profit organization and networking with partnering church communities.
Jonathan Martin
Board Member
Jonathan Martin has served in various ministry leadership roles for over 20 years, driven by a deep passion for prayer and worship. A loving father to five children and devoted husband to Crystal, Jonathan has also been a close friend of Ryan Forbes for over 20 years. He is committed to fostering God’s presence in both his family and ministry.
Ryan & Tina Martin
Board Members
Ryan & Tina Martin have attended Petra Church for many years and have been good friends of the Forbes throughout that time. Ryan currently serves with the Worship Ministry at Petra Church and is employed at Sight & Sound Theaters in Strasburg, PA. Tina serves with the Women’s Ministry at Petra and is a Registered Nurse, and currently is a full-time stay at home mom. Ryan & Tina, along with their four children, live in New Holland, PA.
